I'm voting it one of our most breath-taking sessions, ever! ..you'll see why.
As we drove into Coonabarabran's quaint little township, we were excited to meet with Ben and Sarah (and their beautiful little cherub, 'Mim') to FINALLY shoot their Engagement Session turned Family Session after they booked us an entire fifteen months before their wedding! My heart exploded to hear that Sarah had been 'stalking our Instagram' for a little while (her words, not mine!) and had her heart set on our style for her wedding photography. When Sarah and Ben told us they'd chosen the absolutely breath-taking 'Warrumbungle National Park' for their engagement session, I was so excited.
John and I had never visited the Warrumbungles before and, with our move to Tauranga fast approaching, we were excited to know that we were going to fit it in before we left.
Driving towards the enormous rock formations, shaped by the eruption of lava from a shield volcano, over millions of years, and then eroding over many more millions of years, we couldn't help but be overcome by the sheer impressiveness of it all; it was incredible.
Once we'd reached the top of the look-out, we were met with the most breath-taking views. This is the kind of place you remember visiting for the rest of your life.
I became more and more excited to photograph this beautiful family in such an incredibly beautiful place. My only hope was to one day have our family portraits done in this gorgeous location. I'm so happy we can add this to our list of experiences here in Dubbo before we relocate to New Zealand this April.

Mim is the sweetest little angel and Ben & Sarah are a one-of-a-kind couple. We spent the entire session laughing and having fun. If this is a taste of what the wedding will be like, then bring it on! We can't wait!
